My biggest complaint was that the carpet in the room was weird when you were barefoot. Like felt almost sticky or wet or something? Other than that the room was big, the bathroom was clean and the bed was comfortable! Breakfast was okay, the fitness room was nice, and the front desk staff were friendly!
This Hampton Inn was a real treat; located right off of the interstate in a cozy little town that you wouldnt have guessed was there. Massive, super clean swimming pool; generous 4 hour window of opportunity to enjoy the above average continental breakfast which I didnt get a chance to enjoy as the beds and pillows were too comfortable. Quick and painless check-in, even at 3am. Our bass player left his phone in the room and the hotel had called and notified us in less than 8 minutes after leaving and we were able to turn around; this was a lifesaver and would have ruined any chance for us to get to the next club on time had they not acted as quickly. I highly recommend staying the night here if you are traveling on I-80 on the way to or from NYC. Overall very clean and comfortable. A+
We had a good stay. The beds were comfortable and the room wasn't cramped. The free breakfast was okay, though the fruit salad all tasted of grapefruit. The room was way too hot when we got there. We ended up having to put the AC on for our stay in spite of the cool weather. The shower nozzle wouldn't adjust.
Like many Hampton inn hotel chains, this was very nice! Walking distance from the town is a plus. The only issue we had was that we were in need of a wine key and there was none to be found in the lobby. Maybe keep a spare? Otherwise service was great!
Walking distance to downtown Stroudsburg and a short drive to everything else you would want to see in the area. The room was clean, comfortable and very quiet. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Cookies were very good too. There is a very nice pool with lots of towels. The breakfast is very good, with lot so f variety. Take staff recommendations for restaurants with a grain of salt...use Google reviews. If we are ever in the area again we would stay here.
